1) Mr. David Kakon aka Jaffa was discovered by Nude Recordings (Canada), then cared by StereoDeluxe in Europe. David was born in Montreal 1976, has an honours degree in Pure Mathematics, 15 years of classical piano training behind him and besides that became a complete organ maniac, collecting vintage keyboards and producing his own music on such instruments and machines as the Fender Rhodes, Moog MultiMoog, Roland Alpha-Juno2, Waldorf Pulse, Hammond B3, Hohner Clavinet and Wurlitzer EP.
David Kakon is a music producer based out of Montreal, Canada.[1][2] His credits & collaborations include Jaffa, Café del Mar, Osunlade, Cirque Du Soleil,[3] Verve Remixed, Fila Brazilia, Herbaliser, Masters At Work. Film & television credits include The Sopranos, Las Vegas, The Business, Webdreams, and Prom Wars. His recording debut, Elevator, was released under the moniker Jaffa in 2001.[1] The muzak-inspired album, that he also produced, contains bits of hip-hop, soul, and jazz.[2]
